Sales Manager – LATAM

Think of 1oT as the Tinder of telecoms. We're transforming the Internet of Things industry with one dynamic connectivity service offering by combining different telecom profiles on a single eSIM card. This lets our customers choose the best option for their particular use case or location without negotiating with multiple telecoms, receiving SIMs from different companies, or managing SIMs across several platforms and APIs.

Our customers are IoT device manufacturers or service providers operating globally, such as e-scooter sharing, fleet management, autonomous vehicles, or smart city companies. Today, 1oT's connectivity services are used in 2 million IoT devices across 173 countries. 1oT has 400 customers across 70 different countries.

We are looking for a Sales Manager – LATAM to join our sales team.

You would help grow 1oT’s presence in the Americas, working with customers from the initial lead stage to their successful deployment. Working with 1oT’s international teams, you will play a significant role in building 1oT’s Latin America operations and strategy.

The position is based in Lakeview, Chicago, USA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for the sales flow, from setting the strategy to validating customer needs and requirements and evaluating hardware compatibility through technical pre-sales.
  • Be responsible for customer growth and handling first-level incident requests.
  • Manage inbound and outbound campaigns in North and South America, put together sales materials, and close and negotiate deals.
  • Represent 1oT at conferences and trade shows.
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand 1oT’s client base in the Americas.
  • Participate in product development based on customer feedback, working across 1oT’s Sales, Support, eSIM, Product, and Carrier teams.

We would like you to have:

  • 2-3 years of technical sales experience in the B2B vertical
  • excellent English and Spanish skills
  • a hunger to learn and test new technologies
  • excellent self-management skills – micromanagement is not part of our DNA
  • good communication skills for open and transparent collaboration internally and with customers
  • experience in the Internet of Things or IoT Connectivity fields is a plus.
