Senior Software Engineer (fixed-term)

1oT has built a platform for helping global IoT service providers manage their SIM cards and billing. The self-service based platform enables users to control and monitor SIM card sessions, switch SIM cards on/off, buy new SIMs, send SMS to the SIM, etc. Our client portfolio ranges from e-mobility to asset tracking to smart city solutions, so you will have interaction with a variety of IoT sectors and telecom companies.

We're now looking for an experienced developer to join our team for a fixed period (until December 2020) in building a completely new infrastructure solution in the telecom industry. The application will be developed according to very specific guidelines and specifications.

What you'll do:

  • Develop large-scale web services on Java 11 / SOAP/ Spring / SQL
  • Run and maintain Linux servers to support that
  • Set the architecture of the platform
  • Build eSIM infrastructure according to GSMA specs
  • Handle all necessary external integrations via APIs

What you'll bring:  

  • At least 5 years of development experience (Java 11 / SOAP/ Spring / SQL)
  • Desire and hunger to build something from scratch
  • Problem solver & get shit done attitude (no place for corporate mindset)
  • Great self-management skills (dates, goals & responsibilities – you yourself are on top of your things, micromanagement is not in our DNA)
  • Experience with building and working with different APIs
